Longtime Hawai'i color commentator, Chris McLachlin leaving to go help coach the mens team at Stanford University, his alma mater. Hope that he does well and God bless him and his endeavors with the mens squad at Stanford!

Though he was named an assistant coach by Stanford in late August www.gostanford.com/sports/m-volley/spec-rel/082809aab.htmlhis first day on the mainland wasn't announced at that time. Since he is the second assistant on a three-person staff... longtime assistant Al Roderigues will become director of men's volleyball operations... McLachlin may be more than the volunteer assistant I had expected him to be. |
