Random question: Who is the tallest woman to play NCAA volleyball? I can think of a couple 6'7" women, but is that it?

I think Bebe Candellas was the tallest at 6'7" for USC. Emily Adams was about that tall also, 6'5" though if I am correct...I may have to google it...

LBSU had a girl from Min. that was a legit 6'8. I think she transfered but I am not sure to where.

West Georgia (NCAA DII) had a player that was listed at 6'10" in or around the 1999 season. I think 6'10" might have been conservative, she may have been taller.

I remember seeing the West Georgia player...after the ball was served she would stand on the right side with her arms up and would not jump. She didn't need to jump either. I believe her wingspan was that of pterodactyl folklore. She would make an approach, but never leave the ground. I think she had like 4-5 blocks and about 10 touches that didn't cross. Finally they decided to set away from her. I'm sure she was about 7'12." ha

Here the link with her listed form the West Georgia U. athletic site...Alana Renaud 6'10". She was junior during the 2000 season www.uwgsports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1745&path=wvball

Just watched the video on Renaud, and I felt so uncomfortable listening to the jackass at the end talk to her. Wow.
Anyways the twins at American U were 6'8" I think.
