i really think tony ching should be recommended to the us national team, although he's only 6'2 he makes up for it with his jumping ability and ball control..does anyone know if he's still playing in turkey this year?

At 6'2" it would be difficult for him to break into a lineup with Rooney and Anderson. But I'd love to see him get a shot.
Not sure if he's back in Turkey. I just wish he played for a team that streamed ANY matches. Time to visit family out Punalu'u way and find out!

watching his highlight videos it looks like he can pass/receive/play defense at an international level..like reid priddy said in 1 of his interviews there will always be a spot on the court for a good passer.

Good to see Ching doing so well. He made an amazing comeback from a horrific moped accident. I still remember the line shot he hit in G3 of the 2002 NCAA championship match. Phenomenal.

After they won (?) the National Championship, Tony and Kimo were selected on the US Mens Junior National Team that played in Brazil.
Tony played behind Sean Rooney, Scott Tousinsky (spelling) who were on the Olympic Team.
Kimo backed up Kevin Hansen, who was also on the Olympic Team.
Hawaii had its share on players on the US Men Jr. National Team: Tony, Kimo, Delano Thomas, Alfie Raft, Brian Beckwith and Jake Shudka (sp). But none lately.
Hopefully, Charlie will bring some great talent to the Islands.
