HERE'S HOW THIS WORKS: Out of the five poll options, you are trying to guess which option is LEAST likely to be voted on by other participants. Will most people just vote for the first and easiest option, or will they think that's too easy, and therefore go to the last option, or will they try to pick an unremarkable option and vote for the 4th one?
Poll results are hidden until you vote. Pick your choice, then check the results. Leave a comment telling us whether you were able to pick the choice with the lowest vote total or not. It will be more fun if at first we don't specify which place we voted for. Instead, just say something like, "The one I voted for is currently 3rd in votes". Since Off-the-Net doesn't get the level of daily traffic, it may take a week to build up a decent number of votes. After a few days then we could return to discuss specific reasons for voting for a particular option.
Obviously since I will be the first to vote, the first couple voters will be trying to not vote for the one I voted for. But after that, the more people that vote, the more you're testing yourself against the rest of VolleyTalk.
I know some people might want to post their vote right away. I will be inserting a few comments underneath this first one as a SPOILER buffer for those who load the page on a big screen and might glance down at the first part of the page.
If you scroll down and read the comments before voting, it won't matter to my poll, but it will keep you from having the fun of making a true guess and seeing what happens.

Hmmm... no fair! Since I go first, the one I voted for already has the greatest number of votes!

Players will be as resilient as you expect them to be and as weak as you allow them to be.

I guess my choice was more popular among the early adopters. It's not the most popular choice anymore.

My choice was in the "lead" until I voted. Now my choice is tied for least popular.
If this is some sick psych class experiment, I want my $4.30 and free glass of juice.

My thought process was something like this:
"Well, he named the first and last ones as examples, so nobody will pick them, so I should."
"But then again, other people can reason the same way, so maybe I shouldn't pick either one of those."

When I voted, the number of votes for each, in numerical order of votes and not numerical order of the choices, were 1, 1, 4, 4, 5. Mine was one of the "4 votes" ones at that point.
