Other than Cal Poly, who played Minnesota very tough, they haven't played any West Coast schools.......I take this article with a grain of salt.....he may have seen the current #1 and #2, but there are a lot of very formidable teams out there that he hasn't seen, and they are all in the PAC-10....they will be very battled tested by tournament time!

Beachman, he is simply making comparisons to the two teams he has played. It has nothing to do with The west coast, pac10 or even Minnesota for that matter. Did you take a shot of tequila, and lemon when you took this with a grain of salt?

In Mexico, some of the finest tequilas don't require an additional lemon and salt. Just drink it straight up! Cheers!

I thought that mine was fairly simple, even for someone from the Keystone State Too much soot from coal right?

uhh lemon with tequila? yuck. try lime there, newbs. lick(salt) shot(tequila) bite(lime) in that order if it's house tequila. if it's good tequila take it straight like a mexican, not a mexican't.

Interesting article. While reading it, the part quoted above caught my eye due to the improper usage of "dominate" in place of "dominant".
This is one of my language pet peeves and I seem to hear and see it quite often anymore. You'd think that something like this would be caught by an editor, even if it is a student publication.

My point was, and I made it pretty clear even for someone with a LBSU degree (which we all know is a glorified associates degre ha ha) that he was comparing the two teams he played who are ranked #1 and #2, he also said they are good enough to win it all. They are. He didn't say there weren't other good teams out there, just that those two were good enough. When was the last time coal was mined in Pittsburgh?

Bah! It is in every coach's self-interest to promote the perception that any losses were against the number one team. This is media positioning and nothing more.

Really nice that they referred to him as 'Mike Herbert' the whole article.
This is a hall of fame coach for goodness sake.
