For the weekend Dolgner averaged 5.83 kpg @ .343%, 2.5dpg, 1.2bpg in two sweeps over #9 Purdue and Indiana... will it be enough for Big Ten POW?
Jeffers had 3.83 kpg, hitting .460%, and 1.2bpg - she could be a candidate as well.

Another POW candidate: Meghan Cumpston. .369 or so for the weekend, 36 kills, 23 digs, only 5 blocks. She's definitely a worthy candidate as well - even though she had 1 extra game against Purdue to increase stats. She still played really well in both matches this weekend. Should be close... maybe co-players of the week for beating up on the same teams? I remember on another thread someone mentioned Ashley Schatzle as a candidate? PSU's Fawcett and Hodge each had 1 great match and 1 crummy one. Maybe someone from a team that upset OSU - even though they would have lost to PSU as well.

Schatzle had 6.5 kpg and hit .423 for the the weekend with over 2 digs per game, and MSU evened their conference record. I'm hoping she gets it--it's been a long time since an MSU player has been POW!

Not to go crazy with UW candidates, but Simpson also could make a case... she averaged 14.33 assists per game with .83bpg, .83 kpg (hitting .307%), but most importantly, the team hit .344% on the weekend.
Schatzle has a good chance, but the level of competition may swing the votes.
Who knows, and does it really matter? All of the players mentioned schools went 2-0 this weekend, and are set up for a nice second half of the season.

Rachel Hartmann against the same two teams: 15.43 assists / game 1.00 blocks / game 1.00 kills / game (hitting 0.313) 3.86 digs / game (vs. Simpson's 3.17)

Minnesota better be ready to play on Wednesday against the Badgers. Right now Wisconsin is on a roll and look out if you're trying to stop them.
