It's pretty interesting the rotation now, Jill in the front row and serve, and Stevie as a DS/backrow hitter who is very effective in br attacks, I really like the idea... and I do beleive I brought that idea up before the season, Jim read it and is now applying it. The only negative things I really see are that we only got 3 total blocks, and Deesing has not been hitting too well lately (she only hit .100 tonight.) not a biggy prosem, but when are ya going to start spelling Collymore correctly?

smile, just spelling challenged. Im thinking that Stevie is in the backrow now because of her soreness in her knee The wear and tear of the daily grind is effecting her Jill is getting more consistent as she gets more swings. I like seeing her play more

I like seeing her play more Jill's arm is un-freakin-believeable, and her serve is like a kill shot coming over the net... Sandell has really got used to the system or something, she is hitting really good the last few matches, and her blocking was really good from the start. Poor Mo keeps getting feed half the sets it seems, I hope she makes it through December.

The first pac ten victory on the road for the huskies hope this settles them down a bit and they can start to improve thier game seems like they opened well at home but the LA road trip hurt their confidence I hope they are back on track now

If Jill can be a big threat, it will take the pressure off of CM and not have other teams key on her only Stevie didnt seem to be enough of a threat to do that

Agree that Washington had basically no blocking. ASU Staci Smith had five blocks. What is going on with Washington's blocking this year

what I think Ive seen is that Brick is slow to recognize the hit and does not close the block very quick. Im sure that is not the only thing wrong, but Darla was underated as a blocker last year.

I don't think anything is wrong, they have outblocked probably every team but 3 or 4 that I can think of off the top of my head, and that was ASU tonight, UCLA, wazzu, and maybe USC.
but they do have a bunch of players new to swing blocking this year...

Nice to see Collymore playing. Her armswing is intense.
Why was Dees so off tonight? Were the sets bad? A lot of soft blocks or digging of her?
Brick is gonna make All-American before she leaves UW, that's for sure.
