Sigh. Great teams listed there, but I don't think people are going back far enough. 1983, Hawaii had a solid team with 7 seniors. Leading the way was Dietre Collins, a 2 time POY, along with Kaapuni, Kori Pulaski, Kris Pulaski, Palakiko, Wurst, and Yomes. I believe 5 were starters. This team had back to back national titles in 1982 and 1983 along with a "Final Four" appearance in 1980. I think UCLA had a really strong class with Youngs in 1989. I remember Tomkus and Williams, but Williams was a junior in that year. agree on 1983 hawaii. ucla's big class was '92. with various redshirts, their '92 team had youngs (4 time AA), williams (4 time AA), evans (AA in '90), hatchett (AA in '91, '92), and hudak. long beach '92 comes to mind. mills, hernandez, and romero. won 2 titles, 3 final fours. long beach '93 with scott and mckeinzie (and i'm sure a few other senior role players) were also impressive.

Weren't Melissa Villaroman and Karin Lundqvist in that class, too? Yes sorry my bad...fully forgot about those two...seriously how did I forget Melissa Villaroman the star libero of that time

I'm showing my age, here, but 1977 USC team had some pretty decent seniors: Debbie Landreth (Brown), Debbie Green, Sue Woodstra, Terry Place, Carolyn Becker. Actually, they may not have been seniors academically, but '77 was their last year at USC. They all went to train with the Natl. Team after that season, and were all on the roster for '80 Olympics. Holy crap I'm old.

Sorry, but if your team's senior class did not win the national championship, they are NOT eligible for the "Greatest Senior Class of All Time" Award.

Holy crap I'm old. Doubt there are any teams who had 3 seniors start on the Olympic Team (Landreth, Green, Woodstra). I think Terry Place got married and played for Germany in the Olympics, right? I know it was almost 30 years ago, but this has got to be the greatest senior team ever. Oh yeah-they won two championships (AIAW).
