Hudson on the bench has been when the Gators make their runs.

13 blocks for Bowers. Angie was great(44 assists, 10 digs, 3 kills, 8 blocks). Hampton 20 digs, Elyse 18. 14.5 blocks for the Gators and 67 digs. Hudson was a machine for Bama with 18 kills, but they didn't get much else. All around, one of the better matches UF has played this year.

This match was a lot closer than I thought it was going to be. Gator called it when he said he was more worried about the Bama match than LSU match this week. Those are some really good stats, hopefully those numbers can keep happening.

Now I'm more worried about LSU. They are really good, esp. at home and will be seeking revenge. Next week is a huge week for the Gators, at LSU and at a suddenly hot Arkansas team that is always good at home.

Doesn't it put so much more suspense in the season when you have to WORRY about the SEC teams? What a change from just a few years ago.

Doesn't it put so much more suspense in the season when you have to WORRY about the SEC teams? What a change from just a few years ago. I hate losing, but I welcome this new league. It makes it more exciting and really does help down the road. Tough league play will only make you better. It's why the Pac10 is so good in the postseason, cause they have to battle every night in their league. The Big 10 and Big 12 are pretty darn good as well. The SEC isn't on that level, but they are improving every year and in my eyes, clearly the 4th best conference right now.
