Did Cayley get a kill during her tenure in the front row?

After Kanoe gets the record, maybe Dave should pull her out (to standing ovation, of course) and let Cayley set.

Jules had 9 kills, but 5 errors. Kari had 12 kills and hit .440! Both with 4 blocks.

Great night for Kari! I noticed though that her blocking has been slipping a bit the past few matches. She used to be in the top 20 nationally.

I hope the Wahine can win out on the reg. season.
Hopefully they won't have to face both NMSU and SJSU(and if lucky, Nevada) until the finals.
The Wahine have a long way to go. As long as they win the WAC regular season outright, and the WAC Tourney, the season is a success for me.

Congratulations to Kanoe, Juliana, Amber, Kari, Jamie, Cayley, Raeceen, Sarah, Elise and everyone else who played. I'd be handing out individual leis, but...

Did Cayley get a kill during her tenure in the front row? Actually Thurlby's single kill came out of the back row. It wasn't an incredibly impressive kill but it was a very smart kill; she put the ball down in the spot with no defenders.

Then after Jayme Lee got her first kill. . . was this a typo, or has little ol' Jayme moved to OH?

Maybe she bumped the ball over and the Spartans failed to keep it in play.

I thought Hawaii played pretty well. Their back row defense was very good. It seemed like they were digging everything. If the stats are correct, the 2 Jaymes had 23 and 25 digs. Sarah had 4 block solos.
SJSU is also a very good scrappy team. They had about 32 digs in the first game alone.
