Gators sweep, 30-19
Last 3 weeks, UF has 12.5, 15.0, 17.0(in 4 games), 10.0, 15.5 and 16.5 team blocks in those 6 matches. That's an average of 4.55/game over that stretch. That is what will get them far in the tournament. They're already very good offensively and their back row play is 2nd to none but if they block like this, I like their chances to get to Omaha.
Gators hit .389 as a team. Marcie led the way with 13 kills, hit over .300, had 9 digs and 5 blocks. Amber 11 and hit .500. Kisya 10 and hit .467, KJ 8, hit .727 and 7 blocks. Kelsey 6, struggled offensively, but had 6 more blocks. Angie 6 kills, hit .667, 43 assists, 8 digs and 6 blocks. She's as good an all around setter as there is in the country. She can beat you so many ways. Elyse led the way with 16 digs.
Marcie was tournament MVP

Congrats Mary! Nice Milestone. If she wins the Big one ( I believe she will) she will go down as one of the top college coaches ever. At the risk of sounding sexist, she is the top female coach in college history. At least Div. 1.

I don't like using the phrase "conference challenge" when so few teams from each conference are involved.
That being said, it still sounded like a cool event and it's nice to see the two SEC teams do well.
