It didn't look like that big a deal to me but on the other hand, Arnie, the other coaches and players had been questioning calls all night and I guess the ref just got tired of it.

Arnie doesn't seem like he is type to go Pat Powers that's all..... so the officiating was bad all around? It didn't look like that big a deal to me but on the other hand, Arnie, the other coaches and players had been questioning calls all night and I guess the ref just got tired of it.

In MHO, I thought there were several calls that the officals either flat out missed or got wrong.
I don't think that's why IPFW lost the match, but I do think there were some critical calls/non calls that were momentum breakers for them.

I actually made it in for this match, and I thought the up official and both line judges were pretty suspect. Seemed to me like both sides got homered a few times during the match.
The yellow card on coach ball was pretty iffy I thought, but the expulsion was probably justified since Coach Ball wasn't going to back off and let play resume. The actual play was one of IPs left sides attacked a ball that looked to have gone off the block out of bounds for a kill, and then the officials had a mini conference with the line judge and ruled the ball had been hit into the net not the block.
Streaky play from both sides during the match. Kind of amazing to me OSU won with giving up 11 reception errors.

Thanks for the correction.
