Here's an easier format, for those who don't want to click the bracket link. Dates and locations. December 1-2 at Omaha, Nebraska Nebraska (27-1) vs. American (25-6) Winthrop (34-2) vs. UNI (27-7) This should be Lincoln, not Omaha. blame the NCAA. Not a surprise, really, since there is so much f'd up with this bracket.

Hawaii's first match should be fun for Mason, since she transfered out of that school to come to Hawaii. Not only for Mason, the Wahine are playing at the Beach, former school of Elise Duggins.

Yes, it is. And is has been every year since the NCAA used 9/11 as an excuse not not distribute teams evenly according to record as opposed to region. The West virtually always gets the toughest sub-regionals. Yeah, all kinds of non-elected rulers used 9/11 as an excuse to service their own agendas. Five years later and the whole thing of plundering the economy and filling thousands of american body bags seems a little foolish doesn't it?

I think the SEC getting 7 teams is a joke. Florida could easily be the only team to win their first round match.

Ahh frick. You think one year the Wahine wouldn't get screwed over. LSU-CAL ... oh man. Screwed. Florida #9! Purdue seeded. Utah NOT seeded and UCLA will have to play them second round? Stupid NCAA Committee.
Anyway ... I wasn't expecting the Wahine to stay home, but I KIND of like their chances. I mean, this isn't like Penn St. who plays nobody every frickin year for their subregional, but hey, Oregon is a strong team, LBSU and Pepperdine are strong teams, but I think the Wahine can make it past this subregional.
Oregon is a ridiculous first round opponent. When will the Wahine get to play a Long Island or Belmont? Sheeesh ...But ya, I think the Wahine can win it.
LBSU and Pepperdine should be a fun match. I'd rather play Pepperdine though. I want to see how much the Wahine improved since the beginning of the season. But then again, who can pass up on the Beach if your a Wahine fan?
Hmm ... also ... if there was any Top seed I wanted the Wahine to face, it was USC. Honestly, I know they are good and all, but if the Wahine can serve USC out of the court, USC really becomes one-dimensional and vulnerable. Hmm, same thing can be said about the Wahine so blah blah blah ... stupid NCAA committee blah blah blah

So, which is the toughest bracket? Easiest? I think Washington has the easiest bracket. Austin is 2nd easiest. Toss up between Gainesville and Honolulu as the toughest.

Hey Gator... The bracket says that the first two rounds in Gainesville are going to be on Nov.30 and Dec. 1. Is this true...a Thursday and Friday night?

You really think Duke can beat TN at TN? I have no faith in the ACC. Umm.. have you ever watched an ACC team? Thought not... I can't wait to watch Duke own Tennessee at Tennessee.

Well, the Gophers definitely did get screwed. Looks like it's the not-enough-teams-in-the-area situation that did it?

Utah-UCLA as a 2nd round matchup? Wow. My bad, SEC got 7 teams in, Ole Miss made it. Wow. And yet Florida gets only the 9 seed and LSU is unseeded? that is some @$$%*!* right there. What happened to give utah such a well interesting place. Unseeded, that's fine. It's just interesting that Utah was given the EXACT same bid as last year. Now lets compare the two. Utah was not even ranked last year until the very last ranking after the tournament. This year they've been ranked top 10 for a while and they get the same bid? huh someone shed some light. I do know that the 5 game loss to CSU is not good but how much can 1 loss do to a team that was on a 25 match win streak?

I'm surprised that 1st/2nd round matches at UCLA is Dec 1-2, given that Dec 2 is a big crosstown (UCLA/USC) football game at Rose Bowl in Pasadena. pauley Pavilion will be empty on Sat!

I have, and I have to say of all the match ups its the conference I am least likely to record. (although I have just because its volleyball in general). But if I need room and don't have time to transfer from DVR to tape, they're the first teams to get deleted. Also will you be going to the game? Because I am assuming a national TV station isn't picking it up. Will it be aired in your region? I do enjoy ACC basketball though!

Keep them from being seeded?

Hawaii is gonna have a hard time making it back home for regionals. outside the Pac10, Oregon was undefeated True, but I looked at their schedule, the best team they beat out of conference was Long Beach State, other than that it was all cupcakes in the preseason. Oregon seems to be struggling ever since pushing Washington to 5 in losing their last 7 in a row. I know those were mostly against top 10 teams, but they also include losses to both Arizona schools.
