Not a convincing win at all for the Bruins. I can tell, just by looking at the score, that the Bruins are completely vunerable.

This year, UCLA has often times played to the level of the competition. It's only when they are challenged that it seems they play their best.

who is UAB? LOL. Alabama-Birmingham?? Yup In gm 1 UCLA was hitting .341 while UAB was hitting .353. It actually didn't sound as close as the score indicates. The Bruins blew the game open after 9-9 tie

Rule of thumb in volleyball.
If you don't know the team, or have never heard of them, you don't have to scout them. I'm betting that UCLA spent their scout time on Utah and a bit MSU.

UAB was just in over their heads. They just weren't even attempting to go after some of the balls. They would swing hard on their attacks but not play any defense. Just gave UCLA too much respect.
