Here is to Richards! What a wonderful career you have had at Stanford. You are such an amazing player! Although you may have not turned out to be the second-coming of Logan, you truely brought so much leadership, defense and fun to The Farm. Your diving digs and thunderous kills will be greatly missed. Thanks for letting us be a part of that as well.

And good luck on the knees. Quite amazing what she has done despite having not one but TWO bum knees. Isn't she supposed to get them operated on again?

I remember her when they visited Hawaii when she was a freshmen and she looked "ok" by means of Stanfords standards of freshmen top recruits. But watching her tonight, and seeing how she passes and plays defense and how she bangs the ball, she's grown a lot.

I also offer my congrats to Richards for an outstanding career at Stanford. She seems like such a bright person, and her extremely sad face after the match even made me sad for her. Only because I had to see those faces on Melissa and Jen last year.

I thought I read somewhere that she wanted to play on the AVP tour. Is that right?

The USA NT needs passers. She should go there.

Classy gal, looks to be a riot to hang out with based on her comments at the AA banquets. She'll be successful in life regardless of what she does.

She was just terrific and brought a lot of energy to her team during that match. Her kill to end Game 1 thundered. I think my entire section said "WOW!" at the same time. I can't remember the last time I've seen such a quick armswing on an OH -- Willoughby, maybe. Her arm's like a rubber band. She played great defense, too.

One thing Richards is so good at is defense and passing. She gets the ball to the setter so cleanly, it's pretty amazing. On defense, she can pick up bombs with ease. Her offense fell a little short this year but nonetheless, her kills were fun to watch - especially the bombs she hit into opponent's faces. About her arsmstring, someone said it's like a rubberband -couldn't agree more, a thing of beauty. Kristin's presence alone will be missed next year
