As with all things, it could change. Here's the schedule as of 11-Jan, though... Pre Conference Matches: - Aug 24 -- Notre Dame (at Notre Dame)
- Aug 31-Sep 02 -- Diet Coke Classic -- Stanford, Ohio, San Diego, Minnesota (at MN)
- Sep 07-08 -- Cal-Berkeley Tournament -- Minnesota, Utah State, California, TBA (at Cal)
- Sep 14-15 -- Gopher Invitational -- UW-GreenBay, Creighton, UNC-Charlotte, Minnesota (at MN)
BigTen Conference: - Sep 21-22 -- Indiana/Purdue
- Sep 26 -- at Iowa
- Sep 29 -- Michigan
- Oct 05-06 -- at PSU/OSU
- Oct 12-13 -- Wisconsin/Illinois
- Oct 19-20 -- at Northwestern/MSU
- Oct 26-27 -- PSU/OSU
- Oct 31 -- Iowa
- Nov 02 -- at Michigan
- Nov 09-10 -- at Indiana/Purdue
- Nov 16-17 -- MSU/Northwestern
- Nov 23-24 -- at Illinois/Wisconsin
Michigan is the odd-team for 2007 (as expected). Michigan State is partnered with Northwestern ? ? ? Wisconsin is partnered with Illinois since NU isn't available. Minnesota is (yet again) stuck with Iowa as a partner. Minnesota is (again) on the road for the last (Thanksgiving) weekend. All BigTen matches are tentatively scheduled for 7PM local time. No times have been set for the pre-conference tournaments. (Edit to fix the typographical errors which I felt merited correction. Since I'm from Wisconsin, and I think it's fine to squish Green and Bay together when preceded by "UW-" I didn't fix that one.)

A really aggressive schedule for Minnesota, considering they loss of some very key players. Very competitive.

Diet Coke Classic? I complained about the name last season and I renew this complaint now. There's a Coke Classic and there's Diet Coke, but there is not such thing as a Diet Coke Classic on the market.

And there should be a [SPACE] between "Green" and "Bay".
And Utah State does not have a hyphen between "Utah" and "State".

Three (or maybe two) pre-season weekends at home, though!
There's also an alumni match mentioned on Nao's printout, but I don't know when it would be. I don't know that they can play an alumni match two weekends before Labor Day weekend.
And... looking at the form again, I may be wrong. It may be just two home weekends. Notre Dame may be on the road.

This business with Notre Dame needs to be coordinated. It'd be embarrassing if the Gophers go to South Bend and the Irish come to Mpls.

Wonder how many Gopher fans will be chanting "BASTA" in September when the Cardinal roll into Minneapolis..... ;D

Aug 31-Sep 02 -- Diet Coke Classic -- Stanford, Ohio, San Diego, Minnesota (at MN) The Gophers are bringing in three other teams during the State Fair? If BASTA members drive (or fly) in to jeer on Stanford, it'll cost 'em plenty, you bet'cha.

No Nebraska? Thought we agreed to a long-term home/home arrangement. Or does 2x last year allow us to take a break from them this year?

Hate to disappoint you guys in Minnesota, but realize that it's probably not going to be as cold in Northern California as it is this weekend.

Looking at the form, it's actually pretty clear that that's the case. I just got my hopes up. Although, I've never been to Notre Dame, so this'll be a new experience for me!

Is there a chance the Dieter is graduating HS early and joining the program in the spring? I know she is taking mostly college courses at a 2-yr or vocational school, so I was wondering if that is a possibility. Would be nice to see her get in and get some early reps.
