When will the roster be announced? Do some automatically make the JNT from this tryout? Are the games still going to be in Thailand? I hear they are having quiet a bit of unrest. Wasn't there just a coup last summer? How many parents will even let their kids travel there in these tumultuous times? Who are people guessing will make the cut for the WNT? How many will be return players? Who will get the libero spot?

Bangkok is ugly right now. Blowing up karaoke bars, lots of injuries.....not sure the JNT will be going there unless things change before July.

The tournament isn't located in Bangkok; however, since the teams will likely use the Bangkok airport, it isn't like they can avoid that area altogether.
I can't wait to hear how the national team tryouts go this weekend. There are really a lot of top players in this group and it will be interesting to find out who makes the cut. I wouldn't be surprised if some from the first group are cut in order to make room for some in this second group. Are the players in the JNT age range just trying out here for the experience? I would think that Engle and Holloway would rejoin the JNT for the world championships.
