No, it wasn't televised live, so I assume he saw the match as is happened. It was a great match with the two teams battling back and forth the whole time. Both teams had several opportunities to end the match but neither was willing to give up. Both teams should be proud of how they played. I'm not sure what the morning pools were like, however I know the announcer stated that USD won theirs. The semi-final matches were USD v. Nebraska, which had a great first game but a disappointing second game in which Nebraska pretty much dominated, and Stanford v. Cal Poly. I'm not sure how the Stanford-Cal Poly game was because I missed it (Darn you casino borona for making me stay awake till 4 am playing blackjack).
I do have to say, I was quite disappointed with the crowds, especially during the final match. There was a good amount of spirit during the USD-Nebraska match, however, during the final there was very little noise being made. The announcer even commented on how quiet it was. The sport cannot get the respect it seeks without the fans being willing to show their love and appreciation of the game. When the game is shown on TV, it will look horrible with the lack of spirit and noise. Some blame does have to be placed upon USD, especially because the school did very little to help publicize the event. There were a couple of posters that I saw around campus but that was it. No e-mails or banners to promote it. I believe that if the school had tried to push awareness of the event on the students, there could have been a much bigger showing.

Yeah, that writeup is wrong. Stanford came close, but couldn't finish.
