This is no way for young girls to represent themselves or the institution they represent. Go to the website seeklyrics.com and read the lyrics to the Thizzledance, The song these two are celebrating. I don't want to judge these two, but it certainly is not very becoming of them or Hawaii. I am sure they are both proud, but this doesn't represent anyone very well. i'll agree with you that the lyrics to the thizzle dance aren't the best. but that's how music is these days! and there are absolutely no curse words in the portion of the song that those two used... i watched it several times and find it creative and funny! so you might want to recheck your facts... it's clearly the edited version of the song!

i think these videos are great. they show that these girls have way more talent than volleyball. it's great to see some balance in their lives! Rock on Wahine!

I think it is cool but my initial reaction was like....Is this a marketing ad for the rainbow wahine volleyball team? I mean - I agree with a lot on this thread. It isn't a good way to represent the team. I am a very dedicated fan but I felt like they were using us in some way - it's kind of weird. I can be weird. I do think Hittle is hilarious. Maybe I would have felt more comfortable if they included the whole team on their shoots. I would have loved to see sanders on there and houston. I guess maybe houstons away right now for nationals....... did it ever occur to you they they didn't make this video for you?! how are they using you! if anything it sounds to me like they are appreciating the fan's support and that is only about 2 seconds of the video. houston does not seem like the kind of person to even want act in a video if you ask me...

When you click the link it said the video has been private. I'm assuming either someone in the Hawaii program saw the original video or the comments in this thread and talked to the players about it which made them switch it to private. I guess everyone can stop debating the issue now.

Oh please! Your not getting an apology. Who do you think you are and do you even live in Hawaii? Probably not! And if you do, are you actually a fan? And if you are then my post shouldn't have offended you the way it did. I'm just telling how it made me feel but in no way does it mean that I think it's all about me because its not. I'm one of their greatest fans and no ms. thing.....Its all about the Wahine. I just wish that all of them could have been included in the video and why wouldn't jamie houston fit in? hmmm is it because she's from the East and not the West? I don't know what your trying to get at. All I know is that I heard her speak for the first time at the 1st round NCAA's last year and I love her voice and the way she carries herself. I'd like to see her again - even Sanders. You don't know what the hell your talking about.

actually you don't know what the hell you're talking about! the video isn't even about the wahine! it's a fake reality tv show about college students in hawaii. and yes some of the people in it are part of the volleyball team! IT IS NOT A "TEAM" video! and actually if you even watched it... the game clip in the video has jamie houston in it. and by you saying "is it because she's from the east?" I beleive what you were trying to say is... "is it because she's black"... i do not think these girls have any problem with allowing any of their teammates to be in the video... but not everyone likes to to that kind of stuff. you are weird just like you said. but just keep thinking you know it all!

The contredanse. A 19th century French "line" dance. Try it.

wolfgang... no one cares about your gay dance moves... for all you people who are so concerned about the wahine volleyball program... here is a video that actually represents the team and program... whereas the other ones are for school projects and just for fun!

Hardly gay. It was all the rage in Europe and was imported into The New World (i.e., America). Here's a demonstration in YouTube of this famous French contredanse. Please dress in your most appropriate "Sense and Sensibility" attire:
