Murina, I think you were giving some inaccurate account of Logan. She and her agent as they do for past two seasons negotiate last day of participation of club season. Spar was aware of early departure date. It was negotiated that she was going to be obligated until conclusion of IECL and was not going to continue participation in Superligue. Perhaps you reviewed this on Volleyrosa?
Logan has never signed multiple year contract, that is why she moves around often. She would have played for Chieri in 2005/6 but only if she was mot made to agree to two year commitment.
She does not negotiate her contracts, she has American friend who acts as manager.

I actually phrased my post very carefully. I don't doubt that her contract was written as you say. I do know at least some of her teammates were not aware of this arrangement. It didn't make them happy. Logan leaving basically cost them their chance at the Superliga championship - and in so doing may have cost them money.

From what I have heard from the beach Logan Tom is not interested in playing for the national team anymore. Its really sad that our hopes of winning in the indoor team is TOM. i think we need to get over it and realize that she is probably going to dedicate her time playing in the beach. I see her playing with Misty May after the 2008 Olympics until Keri Walsh comes back and May retires. I started saying this during the build up to the 2006 FIVB season. She is quite mercurial to say the least, and everone just needs to move on and act as if she never existed. If she shows up to train/play within the proper time frame, well great, but no amount of online fan begging/whining is going to slow down the rollercoaster of her life one bit. She is a woman who always does exactly what she wants. If she wanted to play NT indoor right now, she would already be doing it, and not because you asked her to. But she's not playing, so obviously she's not interested. Incidentally, I don't think the situation would be very different even if we had a less disappointing finish in the 2004 Olympics. She happens to be good enough to spend the first decade of her adult life having other people give her money to travel the world and play volleyball. It sucks for the USA NT, but I for one can't sit in judgment and say I wouldn't do the same thing. Age 30 and then 40 get here so fast and soon enough you'll find yourself spending most nights at home in the one recliner that doesn't hurt your back - so why not get the most out of your youth while you can?

I wonder if she would go back to the Indoor NT if her Olympic try on the beach doesn't work out?

"She burns bridges everyone she goes....she should just stay on the beach.....CERVEZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
There has been many comments on Logan Tom in this thread and in other threads as well about her attitude and it made me wonder - for the people who have expressed disfavorable reviews on Tom what is that you are turned-off by her, has she always had attitude problems, did you hear or see any actions put out by her that was a turn-off for you? Also can you or anyone cite examples where she burn bridges or is this just nothing but b.s. what you folks are posting?
Just wondering that's all.
