Scott had 2 blocks per game, very impressive, this is a must win match for usa, great that they can pull it out, Poland topped their group this week with a 3-0 record and they are closing in for the final 6 qualification, next weekend is no cup cake schedule for USA, they play China, Cuba and Ned. Go USA

where does team usa stand in regards to the tournament? not worse than 5th place, it depends on the cuba-russia and italy- china matches. Since CHina is already in, we need to root for China to beat Italy but China is playing badly right now even with their home court advantage

Wilkins taken out bec. she had 5 kills, 5 errors in 17 attempts.
38 blocking errors for the US but Kaz. had 45! Yikes!

Should be "wei(4) shen(3) mo(4)" hehe ;D They are incorporating new players into the lineup (a new setter and 2 new middles and 1 new OH), their veterans are also not playing as well as before. The other possibility is since they already qualified for the final round as the host. The motivation is not there

But if they meant blocking error, it must be the blockers mistake: opposing players tooling the blockers for a point. Not sure if the errors include the blockers touching the net.

Sorry, I learned my š Œê the old way, pre-50s! Is Kun Feng done? she is still recovering from injury. The commentator made an interesting comment about China women volleyball team. Once their player hit late twenties, their skills began to deteriorate. Maybe this has to do with their training method. The only player that represent China for more than 2 olympics is Wang LiNa. CCTV is showing the match between italy and china live, watch it if you can
