"This summer, Dave called and said, 'We just got asked to go to Nebraska,' " Gregory said. "I said, 'Great. But why are you calling me?' "He said it would be in place of UNLV. I was more than fine with it. It is such an honor to be asked to play there. The only word that comes to mind is 'exciting.' And it's going to be a lot of fun, a great opportunity for us." I'm a big fan of this parent. Nice things to say about Nebraska.

Gregory who besides being a full time student athlete is also the public relations officer and operations manager for USA Racing Partners headquartered in Las Vegas ,she's good with the words.

This is an article, not breaking news. Wrong. This is breaking news to this board because you hadn't read it until now and this isn't an article because I copied and pasted it to this thread. The article is with Honolulu Star Bulletin. You are smart though. So if there came an article early Sunday morning (before the match), regarding how Hawaii is handling the weather conditions up there.... would that also be considered breaking news?

Okay fine all you left wingers! Hows about news you may or may not have heard before or after I posted it or before or after the honolulu star bulletin board posted it or before honolulu star bulletin interviewed these people or before or after the thought police got to them first.

Wow! What a great article! I thought about the match this sunday and I was thinking, "these girls (UH) are going to get pulvarized!" but this article really lifted my spirits! It's not about the game and who they play, it's about the great character of the team! I'll be cheering for them in front of the TV!

Now wasn't this a wonderful article. Talk about class! Which is more than I can say for some of the pompous freaks who frequent this board. BASTA!![/size][/b]

I just realized how fitting that Nebraska would invite Hawaii - the nation leading attendance for the past decade- to be part of an NCAA record attendance match.

That certainly is appropriate that they should be part of the record.

You make it sound like the crowd existed first and the Wahine got the honors to play in front of it. On the contrary, the crowd was attracted by the Wahine.

Good point. the reason this is at the Devaney not the little ole colosium is the draw Hawaii brings. Also IIRC, when Nebraska played Hawaii in Hawaii in an early season tournament a few years back the numbers were huge and a lot of good will was generated by how well the team was treated. I expect Hawaii's team and fans will be warmly welcomed.
