Vincenzo's Ristorante in the Haymarket highly recommended The Pollo Cacciatorre di Salsiccia was to die for. Wow! That is one of the more impressive posts I've read on VT. Almost makes me want to go back to Lincoln. Almost.

Now all the sore heads are coming out with all their excuses why UH lost with all of their what ifs & if they did this or if they did that they could won. There were only a little less than a handful sore heads at the most. I would insert a joke about Nebraska fans, but I won't.

What a sore head. A lot of teams will stay with NU early but they can't stay with them the whole match. That was the case with UH. It's nice that NU has a hard core Husker fan as a writer for the Honolulu Advertiser. The only thing UH did better than NU was dig but that was because they had many more chances to dig the ball. NU out blocked UH 7-4 by the way. If Hawaii out dug Nebraska because they had more chances to, than you can just about say that if Hawaii hadn't made all those self-inflicted errors and mistakes they would have actually beaten Nebraska... Hawaii has out dug all but three opponents throughout the whole season thus far. Those teams were: Oregon State- where they were out dug by 8; UCLA- where they were out dug by 5; and Wichita State where they were outdug by 5. Hawaii is having one of their better seasons in the digging department ever since the Willoughby and CO days. Nebraska is also fielding one of its better digging teams (i'm assuming based on how i've seen them play this season), however Hawaii is just better (in that category) this season. I suppose you could argue this "theory," but that's about all you can do because as official stats state: Hawaii out dug Nebraska 47-41. Oh I will dear and I don't need your permission to do so. 47 is greater than 41 so yes, confirmed ironically by aaronic, Hawaii is better in the digging department and I could go on and on about passing, serving having its turnaround for the bettermeant of Hawaii but I just got done cooking and cleaning and I'd rather use the rest of the energy that I have sipping on my ice cold crystal light than contributing to arthritis in the fingers by typing more words than needed by the likes of you. But, I love you with the love of the lord

If not, then i'm with holidayhusker.... you're creepy. You need to pray for yourself.

Hmmm.... something that you must know a lot about huh OBF. Maybe by the end of the season I might have an idea of what it must feel like to be Kelly Ong/Caroline Blood (not physically of course.).

it only took 27 pages to get uber-confusing. I'm shocked.

Cinderella is a rags to riches story. So for your theory to be accurate, they will have to win the football and basketball titles as well. Since I've mixing up my sports metaphors, I'll add in that Nebraska is pretty much like what the Williams sisters were to tennis for a long time: there was Serena & Venus and all those others they mowed down during tournaments. The Wahine are still a work in progress. At least one can't say they didn't have guts to at least give it a shot. Some teams will turn down such an opportunity even when there are guarantees because they don't want to risk ruining their win/loss record.

I know NU has asked other schools to come during the season like this match was played but Hawaii has been the only team to do it. I think Dave Shoji & John Cook have the upmost respect for the other program & probably even more so after this match.
