Its kind of funny how the teams alternate between hitters and setters over the years, isn't it?
I wish I've seen most of these players play more this season, it would totally help!

among the freshman in the pac-10, becky perry and alix klineman are the ones to watch. and perry has the highest hitting percentage of any freshman in the nation

AVCA honors place a high premium on performance against ranked competition. I looked at the UW box scores, and the only time she hit better than .250 against ranked competition was against UCLA. I don't think she had more than 13 kills against ranked competition either. The AVCA likes either high hitting or a monster number (20+) of kills against ranked competition.

Perry's stats against UCLA sound remarkably similar to Faucettes vs. Nebraska. She (Faucette) had 13 kills on 31 attempts w/ 5 errors for a 2.58 avg. And more than 1/2 her kills came in the 3rd game.
