No just (R)uffda's replies piss me off. He thinks we ought to yield to Terrorists. As opposed to GWB who simply wants to put terrorist slike Allawi in charge of Iraq.

Hahahahahahahahaha! 50+ years! Good one. It's been FIFTY PLUS YEARS! Doesn't that reflect on how effective it's been? It's been very effective. Let me give you a direct analogy to the situation with Israel and the Middle East: Let's say you (Ruffda) are Israel. You have no home to speak of for a long time. You are suddenly given a home that is in the middle of the most violent, gang-and-drug infested neighborhood in East LA. Going in, would you like to be equipped with fruitcake, flowers, and cups of sugar to give to your new neighbors as a way of getting acquainted? Or would you rather have steel bars to put on your windows, double-reinforced doors, body armor, and some small-caliber guns and maybe a shotgun to defend yourself in your new neighborhood? The Humanistic approach only works when you are dealing with rational human beings who can reason and arrive at logical conclusions based on a value system that is consistent with those they are in conflict with. The Behavioristic approach is much more effective when dealing with matters of terrorism. You are not going to impose your will on terrorists by being nice. Hence, I say, take the kid gloves off and fight terrorists by the rules by which they themselves have established. Israel has existed as a sovereign nation about 50 years longer than anyone gave them at the time. The fact that they have forged peaceful relations with the recognized Arab states around them (the PLO is not a recognized state) is a testament to their success. Check the history books. The last major conflict between Israel and an Arab state was in 1973.

What better way to deal with the insurgency? It certainly hasn't been very effective, July was one of the most active for the insurgents in Iraq, Unless of course you're saying that it is GWB's plan to increase the level of attacks by insurgents in Iraq by putting a terrorist in charge.

No just (R)uffda's replies piss me off. Nice to hear all my efforts have not been for naught. Yea, sure. That's what I said. Not only yield to them, but take 'em all out for beers. Whatadope.

More words of wisdom from the Dyspeptic Duo: If that's all you can come up with, you should stop while you're ahead. Have you run out of material? Or are you just stumped?

It's been very effective. Let me give you a direct analogy to the situation with Israel and the Middle East: Ooh! An analogy what fun! I'd rather be Barbados, but go on. Was this home on land nobody wanted? In a house no one wanted? Or did you give me say twelve square blocks of people's houses and kick the old occupants out? Just checking. Hmmm. I'm not sure I want to be in this neighborhood at all. Can I be Barbados? Seriously, that's one sorry ass analogy. Guess what? Neither option is gonna work!

I'm running out of material. Howzabout another analogy? How's about you buy yourself a new dress? Preferably a white one, to match your flag.

Go try on another pair of granny panties! Your obsessions are getting worse, you might want to consider seeking out professional counseling.
