"I have not yet begun to fight!" Fight? You're kidding, right? No. Really. You're kidding, right? If you really want to "fight", go ahead. Knock yourself out. Please. Now, getting back to real "discussions"... Bush and his cronies have done enough damage to this country and the rest of the world. The election can't come fast enough.

On the arrogance of the United States: --------
Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees the South to avoid a collision.
Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees the North to avoid a collision.
Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.
Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.
Canadians: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.
Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH, I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTER-MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP.
Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call!

Someone needs to explain to you the difference between an "opinion" and a rational "discussion". This ridiculous statement is merely an opinion. When you have gathered all the facts and are willing to present them to validate the points you try to make in the "real discussion", only then come back to sell it. I'm not interested in poppycock.

Lol, seems like I've gotten under your skin. Getting under my skin with the dorky "fight" statement? Again, you jest, right? Someone needs to explain to you that opinions (ie. Bush is an awful president. BiK is lame.) are definitely what is expressed here -- including your own warped ones. And yep, that sure is my opinion. As for convincing you, the "I don't care whether he lies or not" Bush supporter, of anything, don't flatter yourself. You obviously are in bliss in your deluded world and really should stay there. Hey, keep rotely praising Dumbya to high heaven. That's fine. You have a first amendment fight to do so. Just don't get soooo uptight when you keep seeing my or anyone else's "opinion" exposing him for the idiot that he is. BTW, this is just another variation of your lame "I know you are but what am I" approach to comebacks. (See page 1 of this thread where you proved this point precisely.) Now, let's think here, where have we heard this before? Hmmm....could it be that it was said to you at one time? Hmmm... Gosh, but that would mean that you've been dwelling on this since then and, well, that would just be ...so sad. Finally, Exhibit "A" as to BiK's lameness. The use of the word "poppycock." Nuff said.

Getting under my skin with the dorky "fight" statement? Again, you jest, right? I jest, but not here. You may say I'm not getting under your skin but your words surely betray you. Someone needs to explain to you that opinions (ie. Bush is an awful president. BiK is lame.) are definitely what is expressed here -- including your own warped ones. And yep, that sure is my opinion. You are the one making an issue out of "real discussions". You talk about getting back to "real discussions" then conclude by throwing out an "opinion". I know the difference between discussing an issue and giving an "opinion", do you? They can both exist within the same text. I have no problem with it, you do. This is just a pissing contest to me and I enjoy making a mockery out of your arguments. Buy a clue from (R)uffda, at least he knows what is going on. Steady Islandgirl, I wouldn't want you to fall off of your soap box, lol. Poppycock! ;D A vote for Bush is a vote for America, BUSH 04!

This is a problem. You think you're thinking, but you're assuming more than you're thinking. I don't particularly care for Kerry. I don't think he would make a great president, however, I feel that Bush has already shown that he has been a rather terrible president to this point. I actually liked Bush for a while after he first got into office. Yet the more I see what he's been doing, and the more I look into what he has done and continues to do, the more I feel that he's been doing a very poor job as president. At least you admit you don't care if he lies. That's another problem though, he has come out with so many adamant stances against things then when it suits his needs done a full 180 and done exactly what he said he absolutely would not be doing. If it would suit HIS needs he's almost assuredly do exactly what you're claiming he won't do with the UN. I debate against you on your Kerry stances because you yourself have changed your claims against him during these conversations. First you were steadfastly claimin that he ALWAYS voted against defense and military. After some of us posted portions of his voting record that showed in fact he HAD voted in favor of defense and military spending you retreated to the typical Republican "Kerry waffles" on his votes. When confronted with evidence that Cheney and Bush have done plenty of waffling on their own votes and stances you come back with the clever retort of "they had good reasons to change their minds". As if Kerry had no reasons at all for voting differently on various issues as they come up at different times over his tenure in office. I don't disagree with you in that. My point is that you're defending someone in GW that has credibility that is no better and arguably far worse than Eddy's.

Those that would rather be citizens of the UN will vote for Kerry.

A suggestion:
Silence is the purveyor of power.
If someone is being stubborn, a pause coupled with the question "So what do you suggest?" is an excellent way to persuade them to see your point of view.
Silence is also one of the hardest arguments to refute.
Peace. ;D

Good point Rus. Liberals (Yes I'm lumping them all together) never have any answers to real problems, all they do is criticize. Every response they make is but a mere criticism. I guess it's easier to say what you wouldn't do when you've no clue as to what you would do to solve the problems of today's world. So Bush bashers, what would you do?

BiK, you are just WAAAYYYY too easy. You and William Hung have this unique characteristic to never know that you are embarrassing yourself, either that or you enjoy doing it. Kind of cute, actually, in "my seven-year-old-nephew" kind of way. See you when/if you grow up. Until then, peace!
