Ruffda, you should mention the "Second Viewing Phenomenon." It's when you view, for a second time (several years removed), a movie you thought was great the first time. In the second viewing, the movie actually sucks. Examples:
Star Trek iV: The Voyage Home -- I thought it was a good movie the first time. Then, ten years later, I saw it a second time and well, the phrase "totally blows" comes to mind.
Family Plot -- one of the last (if not THE last) movies Alfred Hitchcok made. Tense and suspenseful the first time; boring the second time.

I hope #86 is that Wolfgang didn't start this thread first.

I think A-Mac just insulted me.
We'll place that around #3,434.

#86. Every time some clown confuses me for Gorf. I could use nitrous oxide for these occasions, too.

#84. New Orleans. Like the State Fair with lots of porn. Yuck. And that was _before_ Katrina.

#84. New Orleans. Like the State Fair with lots of porn. Yuck. And that was _before_ Katrina. With your description, I'm picturing "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Judy Garland...and lots of porn. Or, "State Fair" with Jeane Crain and Dana Andrews...and lots of porn.

#83. Day One. Lots of confusion, bright lights, loud noises. Some woman is shouting "That's not my son! That CAN'T be my son!" Some clown smacks me in the butt. I object. Then my feet are all inky. Riiiiiiiiiiigght. THAT makes me feel much better.
Next thing I know I'm in 4th grade studying fractions.
What the bleep?!

#82. Day 3,650. OK, that's a guess. It's probably 3,652 or 3,653, what with leap years. My 10th birthday. You'd think the Big One-Oh would be significant. Nope. It wasn't. I can't say I remember a thing about it.
There may have been cake.

From that avatar, Mo Batie looks like Denzel Washington...or Denzel's brother, if he had one.

#81. Wolfgang says most of these are "clunkers." This cuts me to the quick, even though I'm not sure where my quick is.
#80, by the way, is not a clunker: Every cloud does not have a silver lining. I checked. It's just wet air! There's no linings at all! So what do I get for all my trouble? Wet! That's what.
Where's the bleeping silver lining in that?
