So was Tony yelling "I did it!" (what I heard) or "I get it!" at the end of this week's episode? I've seen both versions in columns.
I figured Christopher to be a major part of the finale. Oops.

Ack!
You've ruined the entire series for me.
I haven't watched a single episode and now I can't go out to buy the entire collection of DVD's to catch up since you've scrozzed up the ending for me!
You miscreant!

Two episodes to go. Something really nasty is brewing...

Great episode last night. Funny as heck. Sad as heck.

Wow, last night was unreal. The show is going out with a bang. I have a bad feeling something awful is going to happen to Carmela.

My money's on Meadow. Her comment about "Italian sons" had the ring of irony to it.
But I thought Christopher was going to be Tony's downfall. Then I thought it was Bobby. Paulie's too obvious. It's really cool how this is building. I still say if they can pull it all together in an hour they've written an amazing storyline.

Having never seen one second of this show, I can only assume that it is way over-hyped and actually sucks.

Overhyped probably. But damned good TV. Better than Hannah Montana even!
I just hope we don't crap our collective underpants during the finale.
(By the way, does our collective butt look big to you or is it just the jeans?)

Well, I didn't want to say anything, but since you brought it up, yes, those jeans do make your collective butt look big, collectively.

Wouldn't death be exactly like that?
Maybe.
Man, there's going to be some angry people...

My first instinct was, damn you cable company, how could you cut out like that.
Then I realized that was the end. I was shocked that it just, well, ended. But, after digesting it for a little while, I am pretty sure that Tony was killed. Most of the series was seen from his point of view. We saw what he saw. It had often been said that you never hear it or see it coming. It just happens. That's what happened. His family saw it, everyone in the diner saw it, but Tony never did and so as viewers, seeing things from his perspective, cutting to black was perfect. Yes, it's a little ambiguous, whether he's dead or not, is the family still alive, who of the many people in the diner shot him(if that is what happened) and I am sure many people will be upset and disappointed, but I thought it was pretty fantastic.

I thought that, too. But who would have ordered a hit on him? It just doesn't add up -- that he died. But I don't know and I guess you're not supposed to.
Those babies rolling over Phil. Man.
This is the way that the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.

I like this theory (not sure with whom it originated): It's the viewer -- us -- who get whacked at the end.

After watching it again, I guess I agree with Gator. The sequence was the same: we hear the bell at the door, we see Tony's face, then we see who enters. The last one, presumably Meadow, ends -- abruptly -- with Tony looking up.
I think he's dead. There's no other reason for it to be that abrupt.
Plausible explanation is that this was the _real_ negotiated agreement: Phil is taken out if Tony is, too.
Time for Chase to tell us what he intended...
