You are welcome. First time I posted trying to watch the match on TV and the computer in the other room.

That must have been a challenge. I wish I could have seen the match on tv. We will see how tomorrow night's game turns out. I hope you can post again tomorrow!

From the sounds of it, BYU is not televising tomorrow's match. However, CSTV is doing Ohio State at Penn State. I think Penn State has Game Tracker if you don't have CSTV. Tonight's Penn State did not have Game Tracker, but I think I read somewhere that it was not done because it was in an auxillary gym at Rec Hall (not the main court).

Thanks for the info. I will probably listen to Hawaii/Irvine. Hawaii has the best announcer!

Fun match to attend. Crazy crowd. 5600 or so. Scates couldn't win even bringing his own refs from Cali. ;D ;D
Hopefully BYU will have enough energy for tomorrow. I predicted on an earlier post these two teams in the finals. Hopefully I am right.

I forgot to say Burke is a stud in the middle.

If they travelled on the same plane, it couldn't be Martin or Hall, that would have exceeded the weight limit of a 747 with Al already on the plane.

Marvin was busy at the Pepp match so it wouldn't have mattered whether the plane could hold him or not...

The ref's were: JOHN MARTIN, BURT FULLER, MAETAINI Isn't Burt Fuller head women's coach at Utah State? Was he moonlighting? Wait a minute, he is a former UCLA assistant with Andy B. So there you go, Al didn't have to fly in his own ref. Or maybe one of the ref's was late!

Hmmm....seems like Klostermann is heading towards McKinney-ville. Hopefully not for Klostermann! He might just have a bad night. He definitely outplayed McKinney last year for the opposite position.

He isn't coaching against any other team or anything. And it doesn't take up much time. As a coach for a college women's program, you would hope that he knows the rules and what to look for.

I'm surprised Olmstead wasn't a referee at the BYU game. I think he's a good ref. but to call a game with your son on the BYU roster is alot to shallow. A couple of times that happened in the past when Hawaii played the Cougars. I'm assuming that happened with other schools when they traveled to Provo.
Fuller has been ref for awhile now. I think he's a pretty fair referee, even though he has Utah ties. I don't know if he's much a BYU fan. Most rival schools in Utah aren't.
Smith Fieldhouse in Provo has to be the toughest venue in Mens Volleyball.

Fuller's actually a decent ref.
Jon Martin's a dork amongst dorks (read: MPSF referees).
Olmstead won't venture outside of Rob Gym or Firestone during the regular season. He'll travel if it's the playoffs or the NCAA tournament.
Anyone who thinks any of these refs got to where they got on the refereeing ladder solely on ABILITY has really gotten the wool pulled over their eyes. LOL.

Martin was the one flown in. They probably sat him in the back of the plane to balance the CG. LOL.
