Feng Kun, Zhao Ruirui, Yang Hao, Liu Yanan, Zhou Suhong are all members of the CCP.
Zhou Suhong is even a representative of the 17th CCP Congress. There are over 70 million CCP members in China but only 2217 of them are representatives at the CCPC, so she's the super uber l33t in her team, a goddess even.
Surprisingly, their headcoach Chen Zhonghe is not a communist, but a Catholic, which is funny as hell, as I've never seen him pray.
BTW, Lang Ping was also a member of the CCP. Not sure if she still is though.

Isn't is de rigueur for all members of the military and government organizations to be in the CCP? I know someone on the 81 Army team and they pretty much made him a member of the party because he is on their sports team and in essence is a member of the army. So if the national team is selected from the military and regional government team, they should all be members fo the CCP.

Last time I checked communism wasn't considered a religion and Catholicism wasn't considered a political system so being one or the other aren't mutually exclusive and since when is it necessary to see someone pray in order to consider them a "good" Catholic?

Communism is expressly atheistic, and therefore has religious dimensions. Communism is incompatible with religion, period.

If the workers owned the means of production we wouldn't be having this debate. I miss the Marxism lectures from history class.

I'm with USAFan on this. Besides, who cares. I second this, who cares? I mean, the original post has a lot of words without really saying anything.
