Several errors by Brazil and their lead is cut to 24-22 in set #2.

Not as an exciting third set. Brazil up 8-2 at TTO#1.

Looks more and more like we'll be facing Brazil on Saturday and boy are they good. USA is going to have their hands full.

China just can't hold on for the last 5 points. Just a mental shutdown towards the end of the second set. China had the lead then mistake after mistake.....no wonder their coach smoke as much as he does (checkout his teeth). ;D

Brazil wins set #3 and match 25-15.
Very disappointing 3rd set for China.

China just completely fell apart...very unexpected although it seemed like even in their match against Russia they were fatigued, not just physically but mentally too. Some uncharacteristic mistakes tonight from a side that usually has things in order as far as serve receive and passing go.

As expected. Brazil is just too strong for China to handle. The first set was close becasue the Brazilians were nervous.

Folks in Asia, has there been anything said about Chen Zhonghe's benching of Feng Kun and his merry go round line up changes? It is almost like he is in a contest with JLP in the number of lineups he puts out.
I just saw the replay on American Chinese language TV. It seemed like Feng Kun was doing OK running the offense when she got subbed out, never to return. I found it interesting that Zhao Ruirui got subbed out for Xue Ming. And Li Juan keeps coming in for Yang Hao. Someone said that Yang's shoulder is bothering her so how does pulling her in and out of the lineup help?
I also found it interesting that Zhang Na took it upon herself to run the huddle in the last two games.
I'll be interested in seeing who starts at setter against Cuba and whether China will try to out big Cuba.

I just did another post on my general impressions from being at the game. Feng Kun was not doing okay. She was setting horribly. She set the libero once in the backrow. Someone mentioned on here that she's not 100%. From last night, I think she's far far from it. I didn't pay attention to any of the commentaries...basically because I can't understand half of what is said. But I do recall during set #2 Feng was barely a factor trying to block the Brazilian MB's attack. Guess it may be the angle of the camera, but it looked like Feng barely got over the net. Was subbed out soon afterwards.
