USA just got their medals and flowers. Everyone's teary-eyed. Couldn't be happier for this group of women who've done a marvelous job. Brazil was just a better team today.

Even teary eyed, I hope they know all of USA and even the expats over here in China (and around the world) are proud of them.
Can't find the ceremony...best I didn't otherwise I'd get all choked up myself.

Have they named award winners? Don't think they do that in the Olympics. 3 medals only.

Cute moment after the game when Misty May and Keri Walsh gave a crying Logan Tom a big Hug. Keri was whispering something to Tom. I wonder what it was ?? hmmm

Congrats to Fofao and Danielle Scott, two tremendous veterans who have made the game fun to watch with their skill and athleticism.

Danielle Scott will be very much missed. She was the glue for this US team for years. But the good part of her retiring is her heir apparent is Akinwadero

I only saw the fourth set. I thought the US was going to pull it out there, but the Brazilian block came up too big at the end. And it was amazing what Brazil could keep in play.

Gotta congratulate a great team and an even greater effort....they did what NO ONE (except perhaps themselves) thought that they could do. Perhaps we are on the road to re-establishing our prominence in international indoor volleyball....now if they could only join the men in Southern California.....like Long Beach!@!!
