www.fivb.org/EN/Volleyball/Competitions/Olympics/2008/W/Photos/PhotoGalleryAwarding.aspMaybe I am being too sensitive but these pictures kind of bug me. First of all, it should be all about the teams, but there are more pictures of Acosta than there are of the players. Brasil got lots of candid shots and smiling, weeping, celebrating shots. They won the gold, great. But China gets a boatload of pictures too! OK, they are the host country, but at least get as many shots of the USA as the Chinese team. )*^*&%&$&%^*&*&%& OK, felling better.

Anyone out there with a link to any stream/replay that showed more post-game action and/or the medal ceremony, please post it. I just watched the NBC coverage and there was just the brief interview with Berg and Haneef but no medal ceremony and no post-game stuff.

Much more graceful than the U.S. softball team for sure.
"We have nothing to be disappointed for," U.S. wing-spiker Logan Tom said. "You see tears; they're tears of happiness, though. We came a long way this tournament."

NBC will likely have the whole match on their rewind just like they have the other matches on www.nbcolympics.com/video/index.html. THere's something in there right now but I can't watch from where I am. If I remember right, there were several versions of the USA-Cuba match. The internet version doesn't have commentary.

I love the photos of Walewska, who seems to be very emotional. Nice photos of Santos and her son.

The crowd booed at the Brazilians as soon as they appeared and reached maximum decibels when Thaisa held out a placard.

For all the Tom haters who said that she doesn't show emotions, she has plenty. Check out the second picture on ladeda's post.

YTF was Lisa Leslie wearing all her other Olympic medals on the BB podium? How low-class tacky was that?

If that expression doesn't say "second" I don't know what does.

Much more graceful than the U.S. softball team for sure. What did the softball team do? ] Lost to Japan and the disappointment in coming second was just palpable since they were the odds-on favourite to win it all since they had never lost, ever.
