Anyone else interested in starting a 12 step program on VT?

Whew...who know Olympic withdrawls would be so painful? It's never been like this before..... Watching the closing ceremony wasn't even fun. Wonder if the Olympic dvd's they've got for sale are commercial free? I have seen the commercials way too many times. Even speeding through them on the recordings isn't fun. Step 1 - Hi, I'm DB and I'm an Olympic addict....... Oh, wait the college season starts Friday

The WORST thing about the timing of the Olympics is the fact that we'll be watching Stanford, Texas, Penn State and other teams this weekend and find ourselves thinking, "Wow, these teams are horribly slow and weak". With the exception of GSOBB/Skynyrd, who was already thinking it.

I have a full tivo and a stack of DVD's an inch thick to watch... I'm going to try to make myself watch one a night, and label them, rather than find them 4 years from now (like I did the VCR tapes from the last Olympics!)
I also need to remember to schedule 2 weeks vacation in 4 years so I can watch it live!!!

I'm over the Olympics, man.
The greatest withdrawal I ever had, the greatest feeling of utter depression, was at the end of Season 2 of "24" on DVD. I watched all 24 episdoes over a weekend and when it ended, I curled up like a baby and for several days thereafter, couldn't quite climb my way out of my "funk." But the Olympics? Naaaah. I got over it in a microsecond.

Reminds me of that time I tried to kick the heroin habit. Thank God I gave up on that.

I did the worst thing possible. I went to a high school match. The varsity wasn't so bad but the JV. Holy schmolly. Never again.

LOL! I only did varsity and that was bad enough! I kept thinking: Will someone please hit the dang ball? When you're saying it about a D1 recruit, you know you've been spoiled

I like the winter games better anyway. Vancouver 2010. I'm considering whether or not I might actually try to get some tickets.
