I was always under the impression that Megan P. was on scholarship. She was the second-highest rated libero coming out of her class.

The video rocks, Tomclen. Better than the Wacko Jacko/Hitler video! Wait 'til Hitler finds out McLaughlin has accepted the UCLA offer.... JK But it IS true that Gil is going to be a Husky soon.

By Nov. 2008 she'd probably would have already put down her housing deposit if she was starting classes for the following spring; which would allow the school to comment on her.

Speaking of horcruxes, is there a way to take a single scholarship and split it into 7, without killing anyone? Oh, hell, is there a way to do it by killing someone? 7 into 1= Men's Volleyball.

I believe Megan P. is a regents scholar. She doesn't need an athletic scholarship.

Normally anyone who scores a 32 on their ACT is an automatic for a lucrative scholarship offer from a reputable school,.... a practice that I think is sometimes very stupid. We have all met very smart people who are without any common sense.

I recieved several scholarships and grants because of my ACT score (which, to me, doesn't qualify as anything special), but I didn't get my tuition paid for like Megan Pendergast... Maybe I didn't do something I was supposed to... like write an essay. Or... submit an application. Who knows...

Sometimes our school awards on grades alone even when the scholar is a dope. My sisters class had a Regents Scholar who after a semester quit and joined a motorcyle gang. Talked about a wasted scholarship. A good guidance counselor is the key and fortunately for our kids we now have an awesome one who really directs them toward those opportunities. It is not uncommon for every student in the graduating class to have one or two scholarships.

I hadn't heard that Megan P was a regents scholar but Bridgette Root is a "high" regents scholar. I'm not even smart enough to know what the difference is between a high and normal regents scholar. Anybody here know?
