Sampson - you need to realize that many D1 programs play local teams, like NAIA and D3 teams, in order to keep team active and often play 2nd team players or mix teams - losing to D3 or NAIA schools are often not a negative, it is often related to who is on the court
Additionally, you often see top D1 schools losing a set to lower tier schools - it isn't because those schools are better, it is again the mix on the court and allowing players to get some action while keeping starters fresh for long seasons

IneedaJobs comment is the one i am disputing as i feel like it’s a sweeping rash statement. middlehitter.com/MHPR/Rankings/2018_Rankings/mhpr_all_teams.aspxIn the ranking above which i think is a fair tool there are 164 teams. D1 Sacred Heart is Ranked 49th. There are 9 NAIA teams between 49 and 1. The Highest being 21st. There are 11 D3 teams the highest being 15th. Meaning in the top 49, 20 teams are non D1/D2. Roughly 40%. Further more, there are 13 D2 teams outside the top 50 (65%) and 7 ranked below 84 the half way mark. (35%) The lowest being Lees-McRae at 115. meaning a third of D2 teams are not in to top 50% of teams. Again I’m not disputing that many D2 teams would make easier work of NAIA teams but it’s not as cut and Dry as your making it sound there is a wide Range of talent across D3, D2 and NAIA and undoubtably some overlap.

So disrespectful. They were out recruiting in Chicago. So they are still working hard but admittedly need some positive results.

Mark Lau no longer listed on Augustana's (DIII) website. Anyone know anything? Soft admin and spoiled children.
