Has anyone heard of any full-time assistant coach position's at any level? Are there any assistant's due to move on from anywhere? You are way early for that. At least another month before DI programs start finishing up. Some DIII's finished last weekend, so the process has begun. Of course, most DIII's don't advertise for asst. coaches.

It isn't even November yet and we have 2 major conference jobs that we know will be open. Both Alabama and Texas Tech have legs and could impact 10+ programs each.
When I say it has legs, I mean like when Marquette opened up, Bond left GT for Marquette, Tanya left Texas, Salima replaced Tanya, Penn State brought Kaleena back from Charleston and Charleston hired Lindsay Gray who was working for Russell Athletic. For the assistant position Bond hired Michaela Franklin from No. Illinois, and No. Illinois then hired the husband and wife staff from North Park, and North Park hired a club coach from Alliance in Chicago. Bond also hired Burt Fuller for about 2 days, but that created an opening at Utah that went to a high school coach. When Fuller left Marquette hired Craig Dyer from the Penn State men's team, who was replace by Jay Hosak, the former UC Irvine assistant.
So Bond leaving GT for Marquette impacted not only those programs, but Texas, Penn State Men's and Women's, Charleston, Utah, Northern Illinois, North Park, First Alliance VBC and a high school in Utah. And if I mis-remembered the cause and effect for one of those jobs mentioned, forgive me but more or less, that's an example of a job having legs.
Not all jobs create that much movement, but Alabama and Texas Tech each have the potential to create a lot of movement, bad economy or not. So if you are out there, and you have the itch, get your resume ready because this year looks like it could be a wild one.

Bond didn't leave Tech voluntarily. He was out there for about a week before he got the Marquette gig.

Ok, so then GT created a bunch of those openings. Like I said, I may be mis-remembering the cause and effects...

An former eagle that has landed twice in the land of the sacred sun is flying home to become a wolf That's obscure, even for this board.

An former eagle that has landed twice in the land of the sacred sun is flying home to become a wolf When the moon is in the Seventh House And Jupiter aligns with Mars Then peace will guide the planets And love will steer the stars This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius The age of Aquarius Aquarius! Eh, the website lists her as the head and him as the associate head, and nobody else on staff, so perhaps the 1st assistant is really the 2nd assistant.
