Apparently kipp is joining the Columbus fury next week, she'll be a really big upgrade for them Also Fitzmorris signed to LOVB Is Kipp really going to be playing in Columbus? I thought she was in Europe.

It is a short pro season this year due to the Olympic cycle.

Why didn't she want to come back? As a Nebraska fan, I remember watching the Nebraska-Stanford match last year and thinking Baird was the best player on the Stanford side. I think she is just as big a loss as losing Kendall Kipp.

She would either have to get a second masters degree or start a PhD. Baird was helpful but I think Stanford has players at OH this year that are pretty close in talent to Baird and probably better in the back row. MB will be the issue.

Kipp looks pretty good playing for Columbus, given the situation with the opposites at team USA, a call should be made. I mean Thompson has been under performing and Drew’s, I love, might not have a lot left. We’ll have to see how the VNLs shake out.

While Baird loves Stanford, after 5 years & 2 degrees she’s ready to move on. Agree MB is an obvious need. Believe Baird moving on leaves a big hole that will not be easily replaced. There are talented players remaining but Baird filled many roles on the court, didn’t need to have the spotlight on her, held herself/teammates accountable and was the teammate they talked with when they had struggles on/off the court. The Card will have a different look & a period of adjustment as someone new steps into that role.

I know this is basketball, but did you guys see Kiki is transferring? 😭 I’m literally devastated rn. The future of Stanford women’s basketball is not looking too good. I don’t even think we are getting any top recruits next year.
That’s equivalent to Miner or Rubin transferring out…

This is not April Fool!!! May be she wanted to taste the water. May withdraw like Raynaud. Did she finish her degree this year?

These players and these coaches do not want to travel across the country to play games on a weekly basis. Oregon State's stars are transferring out too for the same reason.
