Just saw on one of the PV message boards that Hentz is expected to announce her decision in the next week. They said she was going "to the land of the dancing trees". What does that mean?

Maybe with Ebony leaving USC, Lanier will rethink her decision and come to Stanford.

am I the only one who wasn't 100% sold on hodson? I mean she's good but I think burgess was much further along at the same point in her HS career. I kinda agree with you. From what I've seen, I think she's a great ball control player that'll turn into a very complete player at Stanford. Her ability to terminate will improve. At this point, though, I see her as a good O2...and I don't know if that's what Stanford needs next year. Having 3 O2s isn't bad (even with one playing opposite), if it allows them to always be in system....but when they're not, that's a bigger problem.

I think Hodson is more of a terminator than Burgess at the same point in time. Burgess might have a slight edge in the back row because she is more agile in the back row, but Hodson is fundamentally sound on serve receive and floor defense. I pretty much concur ... Hodson is a superior (maybe much more superior) hitter coming out of HS. Don't get me wrong, Burgess is no slouch, but Hodson hits at a higher point and can go line effectively. Hodson is a very effective on the right side also and she hits the pipe about as good as anyone at the club level.

That's 4 players transferring out of USC. And 3 players transferring out of Nebraska too. And just learned that Molly Haggerty, a top OH recruit of the class of 2016 originally committed to Nebraska, has de-committed as well.
What is happening here? Is Lanier going to de-commit too?

But all the players Nebraska is losing are basically bench warmers. USC loses two players that started most of last year.

But all the players Nebraska is losing are basically bench warmers. USC loses two players that started most of last year. True about Nebraska's transfers. However, when we Wisconsin fans were excited about Gillis, a bunch of Pac12 peeps were quick to rain on our parade and tell us that she had a bad freshman year and wound up benched. They said she liky left because she figured she wouldn't start ahead of the freshmen. So we'll see about what impact losing Gillis has on USC. Losing Ebony is another story entirely. A huge blow. PS: For the record, I am still excited about Gillis and think she will do way better at Wisconsin, with Sheff's style and LC's system, than she did with Haley and the Moonballs.

Domino effect from Nwanebu leaving: Mick is going hard after Plummer right now, and has offered to rescind his "No indoor players can play beach" policy just for her.
