I really hope Stanford has someone on their radar in terms of an elite Outside hitter in 2017. Maybe someone for 2018 but that's a long way to go. Hopefully whoever fills in does a good job possibly Vanjak/Brown/Alade. Maybe some rising stars will consider Stanford to complement Hodson. Stanford has a 2017 outside hitter targeted already. A player with great potential. Are you referring to Attar? I expect she will be offered a scholarship. I don't know if there are any other scholarships available. I think Bowen should be given an athletic scholarship even if she came here as a walk-on. If you are referring to someone other than Attar, can you give Stanford fans a hint about who it is?

Shifting gears to this season, I'm not ready to write-off an Inky-less Stanford in 2015.
There's enough left in the cupboard to sustain and weather a couple more L's than last year breaking-in some Frosh and I suspect that the team will be solid come tourney time.

They will be solid but two road losses to PSU and the Illini and a few Pac-12 losses should lower their seed just enough to make it tough to return to the FF. Even if they manage to squeeze in without Inky (and Burgess), the Imperial Dynasty will dismantle them. They can win the Pac-12 IMO and that's all I expect. FF, I'll say they are maybe a one in four shot. NCAA, I'll say one in twenty.

I think it's better that Stanford won't be the one seed because all the expectation is on them to take the title. Now they assume the underdog role and hopefully someone steps up to replace Inky.

Someone different; this player would definitely be a scholarship player. No hint at the moment, however I will update when I am able. Apologies. ok, thanks. It gives fans something to speculate about. With seven weeks before the season starts, there is nothing much to discuss other than speculating on recruits and possible line-ups for 2015.

She's injured, though nobody has really said how. The rumor is some type of turf toe injury. Several weeks of rest (along with elevation, icing, and ibuprofen) is the usual recommended course of treatment for turf toe in most cases. Sometimes a walker boot is applied to restrict forefoot motion. Turf toe has a fairly high probability or reoccurring and can become a chronic condition.

Hodson led the U.S. offense with 12 points via nine kills, two service aces and one block with the JNT against Italy. Audriana Fitzmorris had 2 kills on six errorless swings and a service ace.

From the stat sheet it looks like she switched to Opp after starting the first set at OH.

Michaela Keefe is 100% Stanford. Her Social Media confirms this.

Re-aggravation of the problem she had this spring?

I am pretty sure burgess will be as healthy as any college athlete can be come preseason... the turf toe situation was in early april and she's rested... shouldn't be a problem...
