is amazing. You've got to be thankful to American Idol for at least this reason.

I like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. Only two Idol participants that I've spent money on. Went to Utah and heard David Archuleta sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Saturday night. I was very pleasantly surprised - by Archie, not the Mo Tab . He sang a beautiful arrangement of "Silent Night" and showed amazing range on "Angels From The Realms of Glory." Also a very humble guy. He said he remember watching the Mo Tab Christmas concerts as a kid, and to be invited as the guest artist was a dream come true - his voice choking with emotion through the whole speech. Mormon Tabernacle Choir + Christmas music = ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't know who Dawkins is - only Dawkins that comes to mind is Daryl Dawkins, NBA guy, but I'm sure that's not who you mean. Oh, and feel free to sing any song the Mo Tab sing. Not like any religion can own the "good" music.

You guys still watching this lame American Idol show? I've outgrown it, man. Actually, I've never seen even one episode. I've probably missed some good stuff, but I bet I've missed a lot more non-good stuff.

I've never sat through more than a couple of minutes of American Idol, but for some reason I just happened to stop (while flipping through channels) the time they aired the William Hung segment. I hurried to change the channel about 10 seconds in.

I never watched American Idol live. But I am mesmerized by Melinda Doolittle. This has to be one of the best live performances ever on AI:
The fact that she came in THIRD during her season to some dumb beatboxing dude and a teenybopper that couldn't even sing on-key, just confirms the fact that AI picks winners that are marketable to the pop demographic. It has nothing to do with actual talent.

P.S. I basically caught up to Melinda's entire season on AI via YouTube.
