Float in the Dead Sea - check.
Visit Bethlehem - check (scary place, BTW).
Ride a camel - check.
Shopping is a sport. Olive Wood Nativity - priced at $2700. Walked out of the store with it for $400.
I don't like falafels.

What?! Falafels are great. They are hard to find in Seattle, and I miss them.

In the airport waiting for our plane to Ukraine. Hubby upgraded us to business class, so we are in "the lounge". There is a pilot drinking a clear beverage out of a bottle that does not look like my water bottle. Vodka? ? Israel=Amazing. Sorry Mike, not a falafal fan. Would kill right now for a burrito. Will be glad to see my boys. They arrive in Kyiv about an hour before we do.

I don't think they have that rule in Russia. On another note. The French police have it in their contract that they have wine as a part of their lunch when they are on duty. Even the riot police.

What did you like? Foodwise? Honestly, the ice cream was about the only thing I liked, foodwise, in Israel.Oh, and probably the best watermelon I've ever had. But other than that, not a fan of Israeli cousine. Ukraine, however has been really good. Cabbage rolls, borscht, and some chicken kabob type thing that was really good.

Kyiv is a beautiful city. #2 son has beena great guide. No clue how we would have survived without him. It's not like you can "sound out" the words. We followed him around like baby chicks.
Off to Saint Petersburg tomorrow. #1 son will take over guide duties.

St. Petersburg is BEEUUTEEFULLL. But, cold - a few snow flurries today. Big business opportunity available here - selling sweatshirts. Can't find one, except at an Olympic store for $450. I expected soldiers on every corner - haven't seen one. Very clean - puts NYC to shame.
Oh man, I'm tired of traveling. Off to Rome tomorrow night. Daughter goes to OBGYN today. If he induces her Friday, I will skip Rome and London.

Hey, you need to go to London. I want you to say hello to Will and Kate for me. Headed to London tomorrow. Hoping Will and Kate memorabilia is 50% off. Pretty sure I had lost 5 or 6 pounds the past 2 weeks, but 2 days in Rome, well, mamma mia, I am sure i have put it back on. Did a nighttime Segway tour of the back streets, monuments of Rome. What a blast. Then a 4 hour Vatican tour this morning. The guide threw in enough "Angels and Demons" references to keep my boys interested. So, last week I was in the Jewish capitol (Jerusalem) and now in the Catholic capitol. Interesting. Two days in London, then HOME!!!!!!! Really can not wait to sleep in my bed again.

So now you're headed to the Anglican capital. That's three religous capitals. Of course, that's assuming you make it there before the rapture.
