Let's see, TX kid...release quotes Cook as saying she'll get to play closer to home...Sulli was at NE and is now at TX...he was a libero on the MNT...TX struggled at her position and with their ball control this season...hmmm, wonder where Megan will go?!

Pendergast, Palmer, AND Yogi? You really think so? Megan will only have one year left. How good was Yogi this year?

At one point Yogi got pulled from serve receive and placed behind the back row, so room for improvement, and yes, Yogi was injured, like half the Texas team, which could explain a lot.

From what I understand it wasn't Megan's choice to leave the Nebraska program.

From what I understand it wasn't Megan's choice to leave the Nebraska program. How could it not be her choice to leave? What, did they change the locks on her dorm room? Secretly reschedule practices to take place in the SuperWalmart distribution warehouse?

Not sure how much playing time she'll see at A&M either behind Tori Mellinger and Sarah Grace. Corbelli is famously loyal to her players, and although I think Pendergast could probably perform better overall than Ringel has the past few years I don't really see them giving her a shot as an Outside hitter.

A&M really wanted her, so something has to give. At some point, recruits players have to figure out that only 6 players are on the court, which means they have a 50/50 chance of not being on the court. We either need to double the amount of teams playing, or kids need to embrace the reality that they may not get on the court. Im saying this in general, and not about her specifically. Your point only brought up, that no matter where you go, youre gonna have to beat people out, and that may not happen.

Well the other half of my post is my frustration with the Corbelli's not giving playing time to those who prove to be the best players in favor or running a particular system or sticking with their "pet players"
It was very frustrating to watch Jenny Banse ride the pine for three years only to be named HM All American when she finally got a chance to play (and that chance only came about b/c of injuries to other players forcing people to change positions). Her ball control was always better than Ammerman and her Hitting was always better than Batis but she was only a practice player until we had no other options but to play her as the right side.
Pendergast will be one of the more talented players on the A&M roster but she certainly isn't walking in to a situation where she will be an obvious starter unless there has been some roster shakeup since last year.

A player always has a choice unless they do something stupid and get kicked off the team. Cook probably had his one on one talk with each player and advised Pendergast she probably would not play. Obviously, HER CHOICE was to leave.

Obviously, HER CHOICE was to leave. Uh, hello! Did you actually read any of the previous posts? The only part of your quote that makes any sense is the last sentence. IF you edit that out, then your statement would be incoherent WRT Megan's situation.
