Anyone know what this tournament's about? I heard it's some matches between some good NCAA D-1 teams in Clearwater, FL. Anyone have any idea of the schedule?

The Clearwater Cay Club is also host property to Swim Camps International which brings youth and college swimmers, as well as Olympians, to pools around the nation. In addition, the resort has taken on title sponsorship for the exclusive 2006 Cay Clubs Invitational scheduled to take place from Dec. 26, 2006 to Jan. 3, 2007. The volleyball tournament, hosted by Canada’s McMaster University, is one of the largest college volleyball tournaments in North America and will feature many Canadian universities along with the Ohio State Men’s Volleyball Team. Located on 15 acres along old Tampa Bay and minutes from Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Cay Club Resort & Marina is the flagship of the Cay Clubs International chain of marina-based luxury resorts. I only count 3 Canadian teams with 2 US teams. Doesn't seem large to me.

I checked the team sites for schedule info. There are game times posted for Alberta and Mac's games. No mention of Pepperdine anywhere, so I don't know if they are actually there or not. Ohio State has it on the schedule but not who they play.

Well done U of Alberta. This is the 5th team the top 11 that Alberta has knocked off this season. Pepperdine twice, BYU, IPFW, Long Beach and Ohio State.
Canadian Volleyball continues its dominance over NCAA.

Canadian Volleyball continues its dominance over NCAA. Well, I wouldn't go THAT far... my beloved Bisons got their arses kicked 3-0 by Pepperdine, and Manitoba is ranked, what, 4th? So not so much DOMINANCE then. However, Alberta is having a good year, and are going to be hard to beat come championship time.

And these Bears are rebuilding too. They lost Soonias, Davidiuk, Gaumont and Cundy. Not too shabby with 4 all stars out of the line up. But Dal is still my team. Gotta support the Tigers.
