Pic is Reid Priddy rockin the Kobe's.... here's the article link: www.vballworld.com/best-shoes-for-volleyball/Attachments:

Jeff Menzel has been wearing Kobe's throughout his UCSB career. He's had to send back several pairs as they break down pretty easily. I think the explosive plant on his approach is not necessarily what they are designed for.

I wore Mizuno's all throughout my college career and just switched over to Kobe's after graduating this year. I have to say that while I certainly loved my Wave Tornado's the Kobe's are hands down the best shoes I've played vb in. They are super light and responsive while still maintaining a good level of support. Wish I had made the switch sooner!

Wow didn't know menzel rocked lobes. I know penn state wears em n most of the nato team guys j interviewed including priddy, lloy ball matt anderson and evan pagan. I've been using them for a year now and love em but they fit a little tight on the sides and wear out fast. Not to mention they cost a crapload...

Not sure about the shoes, but Kobe beef is simply delicious. Had some in Japan years ago.
