So, I've not heard a lot from the men's side of the forum in the past few months. How are things going here? Any comments? Any concerns? Suggestions?
I'm pleased to share that the Volley Talk men's forum attendance is up from this time last year. The average daily visit here is at 1400 visitors now. That is up from about 1200 daily visitors last season.
You should all be proud of your contributions to men's volleyball. I'd especially like to thank swingaway for running the pick the winner's contest and cybervbmidwest for his efforts with MiddleHitter.com and Pablo Rankings!

I always thought it would be nice to have current links to the individual school's specific men's volleyball homepage(possibly on a dropdown menu like you have for the rankings but do that for each division), you could include the division homepage in the associated link (mpsf, miva, eiva).
I really like having the dropdowns for the rankings. Would it be possible to get the Volleyball Magazine's poll on here as well?

I would like to see a "fantasy volleyball" contest. Simple in concept...pick the 7 players on your team/game, and add it up. (points blocks sets digs) Winners would have to allow for 3-4-5 game matches.

Great Idea above.... Maybe we could try that type of contest during the summer with the beach season as a test. Picke your top performers for the weekend. Listing from best team or individual with in the top ten finishers. If we do it internationally we'd have to get a listing of all the pro games and finding that kind of information week in and week out is diffcult. Doing college players wouldn't be a smart thing. Especially for some of the coaches on this board. Just a suggestion...

All I can say is great work, Odin, swingaway and Cyber for all their efforts in stoking the fire for Men's v-ball! I know it's a ton of work!

As a clue to some of the new members and a reminder to the old. Volleybows link, already on the site has a ton of info, links to most published articles and a section with the teams links.

Insted of having a separate drop down, why not link the team site to their pablo and avca ranking?

I've added the links suggested here to the top. Let me know if you have more and where they link to. Love it! But you might want to consider having the links open in a separate window so the main page window stays on your screen, and the new one opens up for reference so you can see both of them.
