Revolving door silliness in Western NY d3.
A few years ago, SUNY Brockport decided to make their head coaching position full time. Their head coach at the time, John Tuttle, had to step down after a 19-18 season, because of another full time job commitment. Kelly Greapentrog, then at St John Fisher, 20-19 at the time, moved to Brockport for the full time gig. Tut at Fisher went 20-16 and then 20-13. Kelly at Brockport went 9-26 and then 12-25.
Recently, Tut stepped down at Fisher. Fisher rehires Greapentrog last week? Amazing.
Brockport will probably go interim for 2012. Solid coach in limbo for now.

Which coach are you talking about in limbo? Looks like Tut won with Kelly's kids at Fisher, and Kelly improved on the record at Brockport with Tut's kids. I thought Tut stepped away to focus on PE teaching which he really enjoys.

Florida Atlantic and Florida International have both hired their assistant coaches. I would expect releases for them soon.

East Stroudsburg is still looking. they are trying to set up phone interviews this week or next. Have they had a new coach every year since they disbanded their men's team? Wasn't the men's coach usually also the women's coach or asst?

Tut was 19-18 at Brockport then went 40-29 at Fisher. Kelly was 20-19 at Fisher then went 21-51 at Brockport.

I wonder if a native son will return to Rochester when that job comes available. Garbage Plates for everyone.
ESU is another story that boggles the mind. D II program that cannot seem to have a coach stay there. Somebody must have the inside scoop on why the Poconos school has problems.

Are you referring to a Brockport alum? A few people from the area have ties that bind with Brockport. It will be interesting in November and that job can be filled by December 10. I am sure there are already resumes on the AD's desk.

Good lord. We are doing a page on Brockport? Seriously, if any AD is looking for some buzz right now, just fire your coach, make some ominous but vague allegations and you can get 15 pages easy.
Three years ago, Arkansas didn't have a coach until after JOs. Last year Iona was open into August. If nothing interesting happens between now and pre-season its going to be a very long summer for this board.
