It's for real! Lady Peahens. That's redundant. But Lady Peacocks would be a little too gender-bending for most colleges, I think. La Cage Aux Folles.

I do not know when this hire took place but Randy Syracuse is at Rosemont (Div III, PA) with Collin Wallace as his assistant.

Heard that Lake Erie (D2 in the GLIAC) fired their coach last week. He had only been there one season . . . for "personal" reasons.

George Mason's womens volleyball has been nothing short of abysmal this year. To go from a NCAA tournament appearance in 2009 to possibly winning no more than 4 games this season is appalling and disappointing. I don't know if this is entirely the case, but it's a possibility that Pat Kendrick may be inching closer and closer to the hot seat

Weakened CAA so all coaches are on alert.

Most programs haven't even started their conference schedule yet. A bad program that stays healthy could put up some good results later in the season. A good team that has injuries might limp down the home stretch. Its just too early for that. Though like JA says, if Lake Erie is taking applications already than perhaps the 2013 thread should get an early start this year.

Special thanks to Simply Curious for updating the job listing, and hunting down all those obscure jobs out there.

Vbnerd I agree with the assertion that it may be too early but for some programs many would think it is too late. It will be a fun conference slate.
