Yes Ashley was the go hitter last season, this is devastating to their program . Does anyone know what is going on at asu? Denika mendival left the program in December to go out to California and play for St.Marys. Asu only had 3 serious hitters last season and two have them have now left the program. The remaining hitter is a freshman that played right side most of last season.

Don't know what's going on down there, but they do have a very good incoming freshman class: Macey Gardner (OH) and Allison Palmer (S) plus Mercedes Binns (MB) will join them too. |

FYI dorothymantooth (whoever you are)!! Longo did not get what she was told she would receive (scholarship her last two years) when she first went to Penn State. That's just not true...longo walked on at psu, and now wants a scholarship. She's earned it, but it's not available. It is true. Like many so called "walk-ons", she was recruited but with the understanding she would not be getting a scholarship right away. She was promised a chance to compete with the scholarship players for playing time, and was promised a scholarship in the future. Anyway, like Darcy I'm sure she will also be better off among the sand and palm trees! |

Shoji will have an announcement this week on an incoming transfer. Not regarding FF, which is still up in the air. But she is still at UH trying to get eligible.
Anyone with an idea who this transfer might be? Maybe Kastl?

It sounds like that FF is definitely having tough luck to get eligible, but I hope that she does not give up! I don't mean to be nosy, but is it mostly academic?

I think you may be misinformed on this one. Besides if you look at the calculations and how schollies were distributed there simply wasn't one to offer and pretty sure all those with intimate knowledge knew this. The coaches at PSU are straight shooters. If Longo IS going to Hawaii ......that is awesome for her and I wish her the absolute best. Great fits for Dorton at Charleston and her if this is true. |

She also had two major surgeries. Remember that Yanz left PSU because she couldnt get on the court, and wound up not on the court. If your reason is playing time/role, you should go somewhere you know you will start. Plus CofC is competitive. Longo is indeed going to Hawaii. |

Very weird to transfer from PSU to Hawaii as a DS ? Is she on scholarship ? Seems like a stretch for Hawaii to want her, she was just ok at PSU and Hawaii needs a bigtime upgrade at libero.
