They can legislate what College Coaches can do. For example, no verbal or written offers until the players are seniors in high school. Written offers are already illegal, but how can you legislate effectively against a verbal agreement if both parties are willing to keep it quiet? There is nothing the NCAA can do about that. IMO nothing will change until PSA's start backing out of commitments right before signing dates like FB and MBB. Programs will wait to offer so they have a better idea that they won't get stuck flapping in the wind on signing day. Perhaps. But if verbal commitments were to be put on the NCAA's no-no list, would a coach risk probation, loss of schollies and other sanctions typically handed down by the NCAA for major recruiting violations? Athletic directors take a particularly dim view of non-revenue sports getting in trouble. If a kid and a school agree to a verbal on the down-low when she's a sophomore...well, three years is a long time to keep a secret.

Ali Santi a freshman setter from GTech has transferred to UCSB. Good get for Kathy, she had some big wins for Tech last season and Gauchos need a setter. I watched all the Georgia Tech home games last year and thought Santi had transferred or was injured. She rarely played! Hope she has more playing time with the Gauchos, but I note they have three setters already.

This is the most puzzling transfer of this season! I stole that line from a friend of mine way more into volleyball than I ;D The only thing I could think other then her wanting to be close to home is she's pretty confident she can beat out Johnna and not quite sure how the new freshmen from Texas looks. Johnna has great hands well be a tough battle they have a good squad on their hands

This is the most puzzling transfer of this season! I stole that line from a friend of mine way more into volleyball than I ;D The times I saw her play, I thought she looked good. I thought her and the freshman OH connected and would get better with some seasoning. Perhaps she didn't get along too well with the head master.
